Projekt „OBOGATIMO MULTISENZORIČKI VRT“

The aim of the action "Let's enrich our multisensoric garden!" is to rearrange part of green space in the dormitory of the environment "Podmurvice" Riijeka. The rearranged garden will be of multi-sensual experiences in nature, forming the garden for the free use for members of the Association of Physically Disabled of the City of Rijeka, for pupils, students and staff dormitory "Podmurvice" Rijeka as well as the citizens of Rijeka. It’s attenden purpose will be for leisure and participation in the horticultural and other activities. Persons with disabilities through such cooperation strengthen their social, cognitive, physical and psychological capacities, and students, as well as citizens, become more aware for problems of this group. After the preparatory phase of this action - cleaning the surface of the solid waste and alignment of land, fencing the garden - there will be rearranging Multisensoric garden with following activities: - preparing the ground for planting plants and vegetation, installation of tactile path in order to achieve multisensoric garden - planning trail, planting plants and bushes that stimulate different senses - promotion of rearranged multisensoric garden and information about the committed activities, the benefits for the participants in the action and their end-users This action is implemented with the financial support of the European Economic Area, the Kingdom of Norway (EEA and Norway NGO Programme) and the National Foundation for Civil Society Development. The action will be arranged for space needs of all these groups, to make pupils, students and staff dormitory "Podmurvice" Rijeka and the citizens of Rijeka more aware for the needs of persons with disabilities and raise quality of joint coexistence.
